Al has broad business and legal experience.  Al has been an attorney since 1971with experience
in commercial and real estate matters as diverse as:
the structuring and formation of a variety business entities, including general and limited partnerships, limited liablility companies, and  joint ventures;
foreign investment in the United States;
management agreements;
acquisition and disposition of  companies and tangible and intangible assets;
real estate and asset based financing, and mezzanine financing;
office and retail leasing;
entity dispute resolution, loan workouts, dispute resolutions, and foreclosure;
estate planning; and
general litigation. 
In addition, he was the president of a private investment company that acquired renovated and sold over 8,500 apartment units. 
Further, he was the co-owner of an investment advisory company that advised clients on the acquisition, management and disposition of over $600 million dollars of real estate.
 
 Representative Experience:                                                                                     
Counsel to several foreign institutions in connection  with the structuring and formation of several investment entities
which invested over $2.5 billion in real estate assets in the U. S.
 
Counsel in connection with the formation of a joint venture between a non-traded real estate investment trust
controlled by a large insurance company which contributed multiple properties to the joint venture and a foreign investment fund which contributed cash
 
Counsel to a Fortune 500 company in connection with a build to suit lease for its corporate headquarters
 
Counsel to a developer in connection with the leasing of the in-line stores in a regional mall
 
Counsel to several domestic investors in connection with the structuring and formation of several investment entities
which acquired over $250 million of real estate assets in the U.S.

Counsel to a lender in connection with a $10 million loan secured by an office building in Atlanta, Georgia and the subsequent workout of the loan
 
Counsel to an apartment investor in connection with the workout of two loans secured by two apartment communities in Atlanta, Georgia
 
Counsel to an apartment investor in connection with the sale of an apartment community to a retail developer for redevelopment as a shopping center
 
Counsel to several investment funds in connection with a joint venture with an international property developer and manager for the acquisition, no-recourse financing, and disposition for $1.8 billion of an office building in excess of 1,000,000 square feet in New York, New York
 
Counsel to several  non-U.S. citizens in connection with estate planning for their assets located in the U.S.
 
Counsel to a property receiver in connection with litigation for the collection of amounts owed by a building owner to the receiver
